I am a student at Johns Hopkins with a passion for film, media and awards. Here you will find concise movie reviews and my comments on TV, theater and award shows. I can't see everything, but when I finally get around to it, you'll find my opinion here on everything from the classics to the crap.

Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo (PAC NYC) (2026)
I did like the set. There's a big cabinet with three double doors that are regularly opened and closed to reveal new scenery. There's a very pretty church window, apothecary shelves, and lots of other creative ways to transport the audience. There's also an imposing staircase on stage reminiscent of a dramatic opera. And I liked the choreography of the first murder scene.

Vir Das: Hey Stranger (2025) (Off-Broadway)
We went on Linctix night, which included snacks and drinks after the show. I don't know why we've not gone to that more often. Great perk.
